Vacation Bible School travels to Rome

VBSlogo

Vacation Bible School this summer will be July 20-24. Our program is from Group Publishing entitled, “Rome: Paul and the Underground Church.” Welcome to Rome – we will have an incredible time learning what it was like to be one of the first “Christians.” We will have VBS in the evening from 6:30 – 8:30. Registration will begin June 14 with a $5.00 per child donation requested.

If anyone has access to an overhead projector that we could use for producing scenery for Vacation Bible School, please contact Doris O’Neill at 706 855-1788 or the church office.  We would need the use of the projector the last two weeks of June.

Beginning next week there will a poster in Burgamy listing items that will be needed for VBS.  Please check it out to see if you would be able to contribute/lend some supplies for this great Roman adventure.

We invite and welcome all people into our parish community regardless of where you are in your faith's journey. Whether you are just starting to your spiritual quest or looking for place to grow your spiritual roots even deeper, you will find yourself at home in our parish community

Our guiding principles are:

We see worship as the foundation of our parish life

We support open dialogues that encourage new possibilities and problem solving.

We affirm life-long learning and faith development.

We seek to honor and encourage diversity, while respecting our Anglican heritage.
