Outreach Ministries extend the mission of Our Savior
to the larger community and beyond
Human
Needs
The Human Needs Ministry at Our Savior focuses
on reaching out to others in our local community and the world
to help with whatever needs they might have. For Information
contact Marianne Simeneta. Click here for descriptions of some
of our outreach projects.
Prison
Ministries
Prison ministries seek to bring God's love to those
who are incarcerated. Both require training to participate. Click
here for information about Epiphany
and Kairos.
Medical
Missions; Parish Wellness
Medical Outreach is a focus of our parish largely because many parishioners have medical backgrounds. Several years ago nursing services were offered to the parishioners with little immediate need. Regular services such as quarterly Blood Bank Drives and fall flu shots are offered as well as medical education, blood pressure checks and support on an as needed basis.

The Dearing Clinic
Several parishioners have been working with a rural free community health clinic in collaboration with the Dearing Baptist Church offering care to the uninsured. This clinic was established jointly in 2000 and is currently open one half day a week with the support of volunteers from both churches seeing 25-35 patients a week.
